CLC, often in collaboration with other environmental organizations, regularly submits comments on pending air, water, waste, and land remediation permits that impact our clients and other residents in northern Lake County. We advocate for stronger pollution limitations, better operating and maintenance practices, and more stringent monitoring, recordkeeping, and reporting requirements. Through these comments, we work to bring permits in line with federal and state environmental laws and to maximize the protections they offer for public health and the environment.
