Northern Lake County Environmental Partnership

NLCEP is a group of university professors from schools in or near the northwest Indiana Region who specialize in a variety of scientific disciplines and have obtained a 3-year grant from the National Institutes of Health to study environmental contamination and its public health effects in Northwest Indiana. We have entered into a Memorandum of Understanding with NLCEP to assist their efforts in maximizing benefits to the local community including exploring ways to use the group’s findings to influence policy and environmental decision-making.
