Conservation Law Center is an innovator in conservation. Our team of attorneys and support staff develop creative solutions to solve complex transactional conservation issues. Whether it is navigating a land acquisition for a nature preserve or developing a concept for a partnership to work on regional conservation matters of concern such as restoration of the oak-hickory ecosystem, Conservation Law Center develops solutions to meet our clients’ goals. Unfortunately, land trusts and landowners don’t always have access to the resources or support they need to engage in land conservation. Over the years CLC has represented nearly every conservation organization in the state at no cost and now with our new Sentinel Landscape Program, we also offer this assistance to private landowners.  Beyond legal advice and assistance, CLC has also created a conservation easement template series. These templates, updated to reflect ongoing developments in the law and best practices, give the legal framework needed to ensure land is protected legally and in perpetuity.
