George Rogers Clark Land Trust is one of the only land trusts in southern Indiana that actively partners with the Natural Resource Conservation Service (NRCS) on Agricultural Land Easements.
In 2019, CLC assisted George Rogers Clark Land Trust establish a historic conservation easement. The 177 acres in this easement were the first use of the Agricultural Conservation Easement Program’s agricultural land easement (ALE) component in Indiana.
In 2023, Conservation Law Center assisted George Rogers Clark complete it second NRCS Agricultural Land Easement in Indiana which protects 154 acres of farmland in Harrison County, Indiana.
