Andrea Capio is the Deputy Director of the Conservation Law Center, where she oversees operations, fundraising, communications, and organizational strategy. Since joining CLC in 2020, she has helped grow the organization and build the foundation for its long-term success.
Growing up along the shores of Lake Michigan sparked Andrea’s lifelong appreciation for the outdoors and inspired her commitment to conservation. After earning a degree in Biology and Chemistry, she built a career as an entrepreneur and business leader, bringing more than 20 years of experience in marketing, fundraising, business development, and nonprofit leadership to her work at CLC.
A longtime Bloomington resident, Andrea has served on numerous nonprofit and community boards and remains committed to strengthening the organizations that make Southern Indiana a vibrant place to live. Outside of work, she enjoys cooking, reading, gardening, and spending time with her two children and two rescue dogs.
