Lauren Robel is the Val Nolan Professor of Law Emerita at the Indiana University Maurer School of Law and a Lecturer in Law at the University of Hawai’i Richardson School of Law in Honolulu, where she teaches courses in Constitutional Law and Federal Courts. She served as Executive Vice President of Indiana University and Provost of its Bloomington campus from 2012-2021, and dean of the Maurer School of Law from 2003-2011. She joined the faculty of the Maurer School in 1985. Robel serves as an officer and board member of the American Bar Foundation and as Distinguished Counselor to the Association of American Law Schools. She lives in Kailua, Hawai’i on the island of Oah’u, with her daughters and Falmouth, Massachusetts with her sister.
