Katie Beck is the Director of Advancement at the Conservation Law Center, where she leads development, communications, and strategic partnerships in support of the Center’s mission to protect land, water, and biodiversity through the power of the law.
She brings a multidisciplinary background to her work, holding a business degree from Indiana University’s Kelley School of Business and a Juris Doctor from Northeastern University School of Law. Her career spans nonprofit leadership, legal education, and community-based storytelling, with a consistent focus on building programs, networks, and resources that drive meaningful impact. Prior to joining the CLC, Katie served as the Director of Student Affairs at Indiana University Maurer School of Law, where she advanced student success initiatives and bar exam preparation programs. She is also the founder of The Rich Coast Project, a nonprofit dedicated to documenting and preserving the living histories of communities on the Caribbean coast of Costa Rica.
Throughout her work, whether in Indiana or internationally, Katie is guided by a deep commitment to justice, sustainability, and the belief that collective action rooted in strong relationships can create lasting change.
