Ryan Murray is Lead Director, Legal and Compliance at MED-Project, a nonprofit organization that develops, implements, and operates programs for the safe disposal of household pharmaceutical products. In this role, Ryan serves as General Counsel and Chief Compliance Officer, providing legal and compliance leadership across the organization.
Previously, Ryan held several roles at Eli Lilly and Company, most recently serving as Vice President and Assistant General Counsel, Regulatory Legal. Earlier in his career at Lilly, Ryan held roles in Global Regulatory Affairs and as Health, Safety and Environment Counsel. Prior to joining Lilly, Ryan was Senior Environmental Counsel at GE Aviation in Cincinnati, Ohio, and an Associate in the Environmental Law Practice at Bingham Greenbaum Doll in Indianapolis. Ryan graduated from the University of Notre Dame in 2000 and from Indiana University’s Maurer School of Law in 2007, where he was a student in the Conservation Law Clinic. Ryan lives in Zionsville, Indiana, with his wife, Erin, their three boys, and two Labrador retrievers. Outside of work, he enjoys watching his kids’ sports, biking the backroads of central Indiana, and walking the dogs.
