The Conservation Law Center was awarded a $50,000 grant by the Indiana Climate and Democracy Catalyst Fund, a fund of the Indianapolis Foundation, to support Legal Power for Climate and Community in NW Indiana. This funding will help us provide free legal assistance to residents of northern Lake County who are working to conserve their natural environment through our Environmental Legal Aid Program.
The Indianapolis Foundation, in collaboration with local and regional funders, developed the Indiana Climate and Democracy Catalyst Fund to accelerate environmental equity, decarbonization, and an inclusive democracy throughout the state of Indiana.
