"The fact that we could do something that will affect landowners’ rights for years to come has been an incredible experience, I definitely did not think I’d have this kind of experience in law school, and, as someone who is interested in environmental law, the fact that what we did have such a big impact is really rewarding."

After working with Christian and the staff at the CLC last summer and during my 2L year, I can say without a doubt that the work the CLC does day in and day out is vital to the continued protection of our wildlife, air, and water. The Conservation Law Clinic provided me with an invaluable opportunity to work with and learn from the CLC staff and attorneys, all who are driven and passionate environmentalists who provide years of expertise and practice in the environmental field.

HECK YES I am planning to enroll in the spring CLC clinic!! This has been the absolute highlight of my semester. Between all the challenges of the 2L year and the world around us feeling very unsteady beneath my feet, I’ve relied on my CLC peers and meetings to motivate me. It was perfect timing to have as my last class of each week our CLC seminar, reminding me why I’m even in law school to begin with! Even without the seminar portion, I’m super excited to continue building relationships with my environmentalist peers and working on interesting projects.
