Urban League Block Clubs

Block Clubs are an important component of the Urban League Movement. It is by organizing and mobilizing the community block-by-block that citizens have a more powerful voice in the community, the City and statewide. The Conservation Law Center works with Block Clubs to address the environmental concerns facing their neighborhoods. When people come together to develop solutions to their concerns their collective voice will be heard and there is action. But sometimes it helps to have a lawyer to support those collective voices.
