Wildcare

WildCare Inc. is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization formed in the spring of 2001. Formerly we were part of the Monroe County Humane Association until they refocused their mission to just companion animal services. Our focus is on providing professional care to sick, injured, and orphaned wildlife so that they may be returned to the wild. We provide care and rehabilitation services to all native Indiana wildlife species, with the exception of deer. We also strive to help protect the next generation of wildlife through our education and community outreach programs.

WildCare holds permits through the Indiana DNR, USDA, and US Fish & Wildlife Service. We do not receive any State or Federal funding, and rely only on donor support to save the lives of injured and orphaned wild animals.
